Cisco NCS5001 is a Cisco NCS 5000 series network platform designed for carrier, telecom and high-capacity Ethernet applications. The NCS 5001 provides integrated interfaces with 40 ports of 1/10 Gigabit Ethernet and 4 ports of 100 Gigabit Ethernet. It runs Cisco IOS XR Software, a carrier-class operating system, and supports visibility, telemetry, automation, machine-to-machine interfaces, application hosting and flexible network operation. Cisco NCS5001 supports up to 1.2Tbps throughput and 1.4 Bpps performance.
