The platform supports cost-effective cloud-scale deployments, increased endpoint density, cloud services, wire-rate security and telemetry. The N9K-C93180YC-FX is a 1RU data center switch designed for high-performance data centers, highly scalable enterprise networks, virtualized environments, automated cloud deployments and converged LAN/SAN architectures.

The Cisco Nexus 93180YC-FX provides 48 x 1/10/25-Gbps fiber ports and 6 x 40/100-Gbps QSFP28 uplink ports. The 48 downlink ports can support 1G, 10G or 25G Ethernet and can also support 16G or 32G Fibre Channel depending on software, license and configuration. The switch supports less than 1 microsecond latency, 3.6Tbps bandwidth and 1.2 billion packets per second performance. It supports Cisco NX-OS mode and Cisco ACI mode depending on software image and license, with VXLAN EVPN, MACsec, RoCE, vPC, 64-way ECMP and advanced programmability features available depending on configuration.
