Cisco N540-12Z20G-SYS-D is a Cisco N540 series carrier-class network router designed for telecom access, carrier Ethernet, mobile transport, aggregation, timing-aware network deployment and service provider edge applications. The platform provides 20 ports of 1GE and 12 ports of 1GE/10GE, making it suitable for access aggregation, transport network expansion, network replacement and spare parts support.

Cisco N540-12Z20G-SYS-D supports fixed dual redundant DC power supplies, fixed redundant fans and front-to-back airflow. The platform supports SyncE and PTP timing with BITS, 1pps, 10MHz and ToD interfaces. It is a compact 1RU system with approximately 25 cm depth and is designed for carrier-class network environments.
