Cisco A99-12X100GE-V05 is a Cisco ASR 9900 Series 12-port 100 Gigabit Ethernet line card designed to deliver high-density, line-rate 100GE capacity for carrier Ethernet, IP/MPLS transport, data center interconnect, video, IPTV, cloud services and large-scale service provider networks. Cisco A99-12X100GE-V05 uses 100G QSFP optics and provides flexible deployment for high-density 100GE environments. The line card can support 100GE transport and may support breakout of 100GE ports into 10GE channels depending on optics, software and configuration. It is compatible with selected Cisco ASR 9900 Series routers, including ASR 9904, ASR 9906, ASR 9910, ASR 9912 and ASR 9922, depending on chassis, fabric, RSP, software and power/cooling requirements.
