It provides carrier-class 100 Gigabit Ethernet capacity for service provider aggregation, IP/MPLS transport, Carrier Ethernet, video, IPTV, cloud services, mobile backhaul and high-capacity backbone or edge networks.
Cisco A99-12X100GE uses QSFP 100G pluggable interfaces and can support 12 ports of 100 Gigabit Ethernet or up to 48 10GE channels per line card through 100GE breakout operation depending on optics, software and configuration. It is compatible with Cisco ASR 9904, ASR 9906, ASR 9910, ASR 9912 and ASR 9922 chassis depending on complete platform configuration, IOS XR release, RSP, fabric, license and optics support.
