Cisco N9K-C9232C, also known as Cisco Nexus 9232C, is part of the Cisco Nexus 9200 platform switches. The Cisco Nexus 9200 platform provides ultra-high-density fixed-configuration data center switches with line-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 features for enterprise applications, service provider hosting, Infrastructure-as-a-Service and cloud computing environments. The N9K-C9232C is a compact 1RU data center switch designed for programmable fabric, programmable networks, high-density 100G connectivity, VXLAN EVPN fabrics and cloud-scale data center deployments.

The Cisco Nexus 9232C supports 6.4Tbps bandwidth and more than 5.1 billion packets per second across 32 x 100-Gbps QSFP28 ports. Each port can be individually configured as 1 x 100G, 4 x 10G, 4 x 25G, 1 x 40G or 2 x 50G ports depending on software, optics and cable support. The switch uses Cisco NX-OS Software and supports native line-rate VXLAN routing, BGP EVPN, 64-way ECMP, POAP, NX-API, Python scripting and DevOps automation tools depending on software and license. It is suitable for data center spine, aggregation, high-density 100G leaf, cloud networking, service provider hosting and telecom network expansion projects.
