Arista 7170-64C is a high-density programmable fixed-configuration data center switch designed for cloud-scale spine, leaf, 100GbE aggregation and advanced network services deployments. It provides 64 x QSFP100 ports and 2 x SFP+ ports in a compact data center switch platform, supporting flexible 100G, 40G, 50G, 25G and 10G connectivity depending on optics, breakout cables and EOS configuration.

Arista 7170-64C delivers up to 12.8 Tbps system throughput, up to 4.8 Bpps forwarding performance, wire-speed Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding, latency as low as 800ns and 22MB total system buffer. It supports up to 64 x 100G ports, 64 x 40G ports, 128 x 50G ports, 256 x 25G ports or 258 x 10G ports depending on breakout mode and configuration. The 7170-64C combines Arista EOS with a programmable pipeline and P4-defined packet processing profiles for advanced use cases such as large-scale NAT, tunnel termination, network services offload, flexible routing, telemetry, packet tracing, timestamping and stateful security policies.
